Clive Jacotine is an experienced regeneration and management consultant who has worked across the country. In 2001 he was appointed a Government Neighbourhood Renewal Advisor and subsequently a Local Improvement Advisor. His specialisations include partnership working, facilitation, strategic planning, localisation, governance and change management.
Particularly in partnership settings, Clive has worked extensively with elected politicians and with local communities, as well as public services, voluntary organisations and private businesses. His work fostering and facilitating inter-agency and partnership working has included establishing ‘not-for-profit’ partnership arrangements, area-based regeneration vehicles and local action plans.
Clive has substantial organisational management experience, including transformational change, setting up new organisations, negotiating, and supporting and mentoring individuals. He was a senior manager in a number of local authorities and has been the lead client for major regeneration projects. His first career was in military engineering, including running construction projects.
Clive has been a member of various boards, both statutory and voluntary. He chaired a charitable organisation and was the interim chair of a partnership body ‘in recovery’.
